Nina is like the delicate and fragile White Swan, while Lily is more like the confident and free Black Swan. Their characters show different sides of a person’s personality or behavior. Throughout the film, viewers witness Nina’s descent into psychological turmoil as she wrestles with perfectionism, obsession, and the blurred boundaries between reality and illusion. Themes of identity, repression, and the dark side of ambition are skillfully explored.
A key element of the film is the portrayal of Nina’s “doppelg\u00e4nger,” represented by her rival Lily, which symbolizes Nina’s internal conflict with her own desires and fears. This internal struggle culminates in a shocking climax.<\/p>
